How to get here?
On 6th of April 2015 the new part of the metro line A was put into operation, the metro was prolonged from the station Dejvická to the station Nemocnice Motol. Now you can get to our hospital comfortably by metro, the metro hall leads directly to the hospital area.
Motol University Hospital is situated nearby Nemocnice Motol stop where several buses run from. These are:
- 167 (from Anděl station to the neighboring hospital Na Homolce)
- 168 (from Nové Butovice station, through Vypich and Petřiny stops to Bořislavka stop)
- 174 (from Velká ohrada stop through Luka station)
- 179 (through Luka station to Třebonice stop)
- 180 (from Zličín station, through Sídliště Řepy stop, to Dejvická station)
- 184 (from Nové Butovice station, through Vypich stop, to Vozovna Střešovice stop)
- regional bus lines 301, 347, 352, 380
- night line 502 (passes through station Luka and stop Suchdol)
When arriving to the hospital by car, we recommend you to leave some extra time to find a parking place. You can park in the hospital area or indoor parking.
Parking in the hospital area is charged at 30 CZK per 30 minutes or part thereof. However, there is a time frame of parking free of charge in each of the three time periods of the day:
If you arrive and depart between 06:00 and 16:00 there is 1 hour of parking free of charge.
If you arrive and depart between 16:00 and 21:00 there are 3 hours of parking free of charge.
If you arrive and depart between 21:00 and 06:00 there are 4 hours of parking free of charge.
If you exceed the free of charge time frame of the periods specified above or you arrive and depart in different periods, the fee is counted since the time of arrival to the hospital area in the standard rate of 30 CZK per 30 minutes or part thereof. You pay for parking when leaving the hospital area. In case of lost or damage of parking card, Motol University Hospital charges you a one-time penalty of 1000 CZK (VAT included). Handicapped patients are allowed to park for free and for an unlimited period of time in the hospital area
There are reserved guarded parking places free of charge for the parents of long-term hospitalized children in the indoor parking. These places can be assigned to you upon special request that contains attending physician’s written confirmation for long-term hospitalization.
Spiritual care is available in our hospital to all patients, who are interested, no matter their beliefs and nationalities. You can contact the hospital chaplains on phone no. 224 439 543 or personally in the Room of Silence (Prostor ticha) that is located in the main hall of the adults’ part of the hospital. They are available from Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 8 PM or any other day or time upon agreement. In urgent cases, you can call at any time on 739 244 352. You can also use an email address: firstname.lastname@example.org. Many chaplains speak foreign languages.
