Project description:

In 2014, the National Coordination Center for Injury Prevention, Violence and Child Safety (NKC) received a grant of CZK 15, of which CZK 260 from Norwegian funds and CZK 234 from the state budget. The funds were used for the reconstruction and equipment of the NKC premises (all separate workplaces), the creation of methodologies and materials for the area of ​​accident and violence prevention, as well as ensuring publicity and information for the general public. The project was implemented in the period 12/208 - 187/3.

Colleagues from the Norwegian Safety Forum (NSF) also took part in the project's outputs. It is a non-profit organization funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Health and Services and the Norwegian Association of Insurance Companies. The NSF operates through integrated and targeted activities in all sectors and at all administrative levels. Monitors conditions affecting health, health services and living conditions. Provides expert services for interest groups and the media. We would especially like to thank Dr. J. Lund and EJ Vaagland for their cooperation.

Within the project, 12 methodological brochures of a preventive nature, two mobile and web applications, animated clips and a number of preventive materials were created. An integral part of the project was the successful reconstruction of the existing NKC premises and the equipment of new furniture and IT. All outputs of the project are located on the newly renovated website of the center - www.nkcpu.cz.
