FN Motol launched the project "Support for rehabilitation care for patients after critical conditions"

The University Hospital in Motol announced the launch of the project "FN Motol - Support for rehabilitation care for patients after critical conditions", which represents a significant step towards strengthening care for patients in need of rehabilitation.

The goal of the project is the reconstruction of part of the Adult Hospital and the modification of the layout of the defined part of the pavilion for the Rehabilitation and Physical Education Clinic of the 2nd Faculty of Medicine of the UK and the Motol FN. This initiative will have a direct impact on increasing the bed capacity of rehabilitation care on the 3rd above-ground floor and expanding and improving the quality of rehabilitation physiotherapy care on the 2nd underground floor.

The newly reconstructed space on the 2nd underground floor will be equipped with individual acoustically closed spaces for maximum treatment efficiency. At the same time, hydrotherapy will be resumed, including group kinesiotherapy in the pool, which will contribute to the overall improvement of the availability and quality of rehabilitation services.

"We are convinced that the new equipment and capacity expansion will bring significant benefits to patients and improve their rehabilitation process. At the same time, the planned modifications to the pavilion will have a positive impact on the working conditions of employees, who will have the opportunity to better use modern equipment and the environment for providing care," says Mgr. Kateřina Míková, head physiotherapist of the Rehabilitation and Physical Education Clinic of the 2nd Faculty of Medicine of the University of Warsaw and the Motol Medical University.

Changes in the arrangement will enable individual access to patients and expansion of rehabilitation care capacity.

"This project is another step towards fulfilling our commitment to providing the best possible care to the patients of FN Motol. I believe that the modernization and expansion of our rehabilitation infrastructure will bring significant improvements for both patients and staff." concludes JUDr. Ing. Miloslav Ludvík, MBA, director of the University Hospital in Motol.
