The dialysis center with nephrology clinic FMC-DS Prague 5 - Motol was put into operation in May 2005 by its current operator, the company Fresenius Medical Care-DS, s.r.o., and thus became part of the international network of dialysis centers of Fresenius Medical Care. The center has five hemodialysis rooms, a peritoneal dialysis clinic and a nephrology clinic. In the new part of the center there is another large dialysis room with a capacity of 17 beds. The operation of the workplace is ensured by a team of expert doctors and specialized nurses. The company's clinical psychologist and nutritional therapist are available. The dialysis center is equipped with state-of-the-art dialysis monitors of the 5008 series. The health care provided is covered by public health insurance based on Contracts for the provision and reimbursement of health care that Fresenius Medical Care - DS, s.r.o. has concluded with all health insurance companies.
