New methods and procedures:
• We enhanced the standard vulvar cancer treatment with intraoperative detection and extirpation of sentinel lymph nodes (alternative to complete inguinal lymphadenectomy), which significantly reduces postoperative morbidity (particularly lymphedemas of lower extremities) .
• In cervical cancer treatment we introduced less radical methods based on the detection of sentinel lymph nodes, which in selected groups of women reduces the extent of operation and thus postoperative morbidity (mainly lymphedema of lower extremities plus continence and voiding disorders).
• Patients who are planning pregnancy and suffer from early stage of cervical cancer can benefit from fertility sparing treatment algorithm.
Unique surgical instruments:
• CO2 laser therapy of premalignant vulvar and vaginal changes
• LigaSure coagulation
