FN Motol has a valid accreditation to carry out professional practice within the practical part of the doctor's examination in the length of 6 months. Applicants who have a practical part of the approbation exam set for 5 months in the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic cannot perform professional practice at the Motol University Hospital.
The training capacity of FN Motol for the implementation of professional practice within the practical part of the approbation exam was set by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic at 3 applicants for one training cycle (6 months).
Current information:
The allocated training capacity for the implementation of professional practice within the practical part of the approbation exam is occupied for the whole of 2022.
Prerequisites for the placement of the applicant in professional practice:
- successful passing of the written part of the approbation exam, ie written tests;
- a valid decision of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic on a permit to practice the medical profession of a doctor for the period of professional practice within the practical part of the approbation examination;
- completed entrance interview with the guarantor of the practical part of the approbation exam, which will verify the candidate's knowledge of the Czech language and determine the date of the candidate's placement in professional practice within the practical part of the approbation exam;
- concluding a valid contract for the provision of an internship for the entire period of professional practice within the practical part of the approbation examination according to the instructions given <a href="https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1932/8043/files/200721_ODSTOUPENI_BEZ_UDANI_DUVODU__EN.pdf?v=1595428404" data-gt-href-en="https://en.notsofunnyany.com/">here</a>;
- professional practice within the practical part of the approbation exam is charged in accordance with the valid price list of the Motol University Hospital in the amount of CZK 7.500,00 / month.
The course of professional practice
- professional practice will take place under the direct professional guidance of a doctor (supervisor) for 1 month in the following fields: Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, Pediatrics, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Surgery, Internal Medicine and in one month in one of the above fields (according to the candidate's choice) and capacity options of FN Motol);
- professional practice will take place within the specified weekly working hours;
- professional experience cannot be divided - it must take place in a comprehensive manner, ie continuously for a period of six months;
- professional practice must take place in the Motol University Hospital as a whole, it cannot be implemented in part in another medical facility;
- No previous experience carried out in the Czech Republic or abroad can be included in professional practice.
Conditions for completion of professional practice and practical part of the approbation exam
Prerequisite for successful completion of the practical part of the approbation exam is the completion of professional practice in the required length and scope and the elaboration of five case studies according to the established instructions. From these case studies, the committee will select one that the candidate will defend during the oral final examination.
