Grants and institutional support

At the University Hospital in Motol, scientific activities supported by grant agencies are ongoing on a long-term and long-term basis. At present, the employees of the Motol University Hospital are the main solvers of grants from the Agency for Health Research (AZV), as well as grants supported by the European Union and the USA. As co-researchers, they also participate in grants from the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic (GAČR) and the Grant Agency of Charles University (GAUK). At the end of 2011, the research project entitled "Improving the early diagnosis, prevention and treatment of severe reproductive disorders, prenatal and postnatal development in children and adults" was completed. The extensive project involved 72 solvers of partial tasks from the ranks of doctors at the University Hospital in Motol, whose work was divided into 51 thematic projects and 10 thematic blocks.

Since 2012, scientific research activities at the University Hospital in Motol have been supported, among other things, by the institutional support of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic. This made it possible to financially secure research projects of 43 workplaces in the form of internal grants.

Furthermore, since 2012, support has been applied to projects within the framework of "Modern Therapy", which includes extraordinary projects using cell or tissue therapies.
