A number of initiatives have been set up directly at our workplace to support children being treated for cancer. Summer and winter camps, holiday health stays and fun events for children in treatment are an example of the fact that our clinic cares not only about the physical but also about the mental health of its patients.
The aim of such initiatives is to empower children during demanding oncology treatment and help them return to a normal life after it has ended.
Summer camps and ski training Our clinic has been organizing for children after oncological treatment since 1990. The stays are attended not only by the patients themselves, but also by their siblings and friends. Many of the leaders at our camps are patients after successful oncological treatment who went on reconditioning stays years ago as children.
