Our team

Our clinic employs over 30 doctors, several dozen nurses and other staff who care for pediatric patients and their families.

Many of us have been working in pediatric oncology at Motol for many years or even decades. We are extremely honored that since the founders of pediatric hematology (prof. MD Otto Hrodek, PhD.) and pediatric oncology (prof. MD Josef Koutecký, DrSc.) was taught by paramedics who work at our clinic to this day.

DOCTORS

The doctors of our workplace are pediatricians, oncologists, hematologists and immunologists. Each patient is accompanied by a treating physician, and you will be in contact with a number of other physicians during normal operation on the ward and during night services. Meet ours doctors.

NURSES

Our nurses are studied nurses professionally trained in the intensive care of children with cancer. Effective teamwork of doctors and nurses is a prerequisite for effective care of sick children. We present you our nurses.

PSYCHOSOCIAL TEAM

An integral part of the care of pediatric patients and their families is cooperation with psychologists and social workerswho help the mental comfort of patients and their loved ones in the demanding period of oncological treatment. We would like to introduce our psychosocial team.

OUR SCIENTISTS

It is of irreplaceable importance in the professional care of our patients scientific and research activities our laboratory center. The exact diagnosis, inclusion in the treatment regimen, evaluation of the response to therapy and determination of prognostic signs of the disease determine our scientists.

ADMINISTRATIVE TEAM

Part of the comprehensive care for our patients is also detailed analysis and long-term data archivingas well as the management of our patients database. Ours is in charge of a demanding administrative agenda administrative team.
