Basic information and contacts

The Department of Immunology provides a laboratory routine immunological service in the field of diagnostics of immunodeficiencies, autoimmunity, as well as specialized laboratory diagnostics of severe immune disorders. There is a statim examination of selected laboratory immunological methods with 24-hour service for patients from the Motol University Hospital (CRP, immunoglobulins, complement) and from all over the Czech Republic (ANCA, antiGBM), cerebrospinal fluid examination for Prague. Physicians provide counseling, outpatient and dispensary care for children and adults with common immune disorders from the catchment area and patients hospitalized at the Motol University Hospital, and also provide counseling and dispensary care for patients with severe immune disorders from all over the Czech Republic.

The clinical immunology and allergology clinic and the day care center for adult patients are located in the Blue Pavilion of the FNM, node D, ground floor.

We only accept booked patients! The patient must be recommended for examination by a general practitioner or other attending physician.

Inpatient department

The Department of Immunology does not have an inpatient department; it provides laboratory and consular examinations for the inpatient departments of the pediatric and adult wards of the Motol University Hospital. Patients requiring hospitalization are hospitalized in the appropriate wards according to the nature of their problems.
