COS for adult patients provide facilities for 8 of the 10 surgical workplaces of the adult part of the Motol University Hospital:

III. Department of Surgery, 1st Medical Faculty, Charles University and University Hospital Motol

I. orthopedic clinic of the 1st Medical Faculty of Charles University and University Hospital Motol

Department of Pediatric and Adult Orthopedics and Traumatology, 2nd Medical Faculty and Motol University Hospital

Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, 1st Medical Faculty, Charles University and University Hospital Motol

Department of Neurosurgery for Children and Adults, 2nd Medical Faculty, Charles University and University Hospital Motol

Spondylosurgery department

Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, 2nd Medical Faculty, Charles University and University Hospital Motol

The COS-adults department is organizationally divided into 6 stations and 3 sections, with about 85 hall nurses and 45 paramedics working here.

There are 21 central halls, we provide another 5 halls with staff and materials.

COS-adult staff actively and passively participate in congresses, symposia and seminars focused on perioperative care, hygiene, sterilization and surgical procedures.

Mgr. Jana Wichsová is a member of the international committee of EORNA (European Association of Hall Nurses), where she currently holds the position of Vice President.
