Foundation fund of Professor Pavel Pafko - Faculty Hospital in Motola

In 2011, it was established at the clinic Professor Pavel Pafek Endowment Fund, whose main priority is obtaining support for the development of the workplace concept, improving patient care, further education of doctors, nurses and ensuring access to the most modern medical procedures and scientific knowledge

Objectives of the endowment fund:

For patients: support for the improvement of the environment and the acquisition of equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of patients

For education: supporting the education of doctors and nurses, when access to the most modern knowledge is a basic prerequisite for the introduction of the most modern treatment procedures and the quality of patient care

For science and research: support of scientific and research projects of the clinic and international cooperation

In the mentioned period, the foundation fund supported countless study stays of doctors and nurses of our clinic, but also of collaborating departments - KARIM 2nd Faculty of Medicine UK and Pulmonary Clinic 2nd Faculty of Medicine UK.

With the support of the fund, we renovated the seminar room and acquired state-of-the-art presentation technology with the possibility of communication with teams from other hospitals within the framework of broad multidisciplinary teams, seminars and conferences.

We digitized two operating theaters and purchased a number of devices, surgical tools and equipment that significantly affect the quality of care provided at our clinic.
