Mr. Miloš Zeman is today on the 20th day after surgery for critical hypoperfusion of the lower limb caused by a blood clot. In the course of the hybrid procedure, he underwent plastic surgery of the artery, removal of the blood clot, patency of the arterial channel and two fasciotomies of the lower leg due to the developing swelling of the limb. In the further course of hospitalization, it was possible to close both fasciotomies and start rehabilitation if the local findings were good. The internal environment and surgical wounds were cared for.
Current laboratory findings are favorable, Mr. ex-president is able to walk in a walker with improving condition, treatment and a care plan for the following period have been set. Mr. Miloš Zeman was released to home care today.
