As part of the program, all types of operations and reoperations of the liver, spleen, pancreas and bile ducts for benign and malignant diseases, including vascular resections, are performed.
At the same time, we perform combined services within the framework of interdisciplinary cooperation.
As a standard, all types of combined operations on the liver with the colorectal group are performed in case of synchronous metastatic involvement of the liver. We also perform extensive multivisceral and compartment resections within the Program for the treatment of soft tissue sarcomas, including resections and replacements of large vessels (except liver transplants - cooperation with IKEM).
Special emphasis is placed on the surgical treatment of metastatic liver disease, primary and secondary pancreatic tumors and on the surgical treatment of chronic pancreatitis.
We have newly included robotic resections of the pancreas in the range of services. In 2021, we performed the first robotic distal resection of the pancreas in the Czech Republic.

- Surgical procedures of primary liver tumors and metastatic disease – anatomical resections including extended hemihepatectomies in full extent
- Non-anatomical resections for primary and metastatic liver tumors
- Liver resection for benign liver disease
- Procedures for cystic liver diseases, including parasitic ones
- Resection procedures for benign and malignant diseases of the bile ducts and gallbladder
- Resection procedures for benign and malignant diseases of the pancreas in the entire range, including vascular resections using a classic and mini-invasive approach incl. robotic resection
- Surgical procedures indicated for chronic pancreatitis
- Classical and laparoscopic surgical procedures for diseases of the spleen
